Midfielder Barreiro and forward Amdouni, Benfica's professional football squad, have been called up to play for the Luxembourg and Swiss national teams, respectively, in matches scheduled for this October.

Barreiro is part of national coach Luc Holtz's squad for the two matches in Group C3 of the Nations League, against Bulgaria on October 12 at 5:00 pm at the Hristo Botev in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) and against Belarus on October 15 at 7:45 pm at the ZTE Aréna in Zalaegerszeg (Hungary), in rounds 3 and 4 of the competition.

Amdouni has been selected by Murat Yakin, the Swiss national coach, for the matches against Serbia on October 12 at 7.45 pm at the Gradski Stadion Dubocica in Leskovac (Serbia) and Denmark on October 15 at 7.45 pm at the Kybunpark in St. Gallen (Switzerland) in round 3 and 4 of Group A4 of the Nations League.

Needing just one point to celebrate, Benfica's U19 team became champions after a 2-2 draw against FC Porto in round 13 of the championship round, and lifted the trophy on the pitch, celebrating afterward with the fans who were tireless in their support for Luís Araújo's team.
