The Benfica defender Tomás Araújo was called up this Tuesday, October 8, by the national coach Roberto Martínez for the next two Nations League's matches. Portugal will face Poland and Scotland.

The Red player, who was initially called up to the U-21 national squad, joins António Silva  in the options for the double-header in Group A1 of the Nations League.

The national team will face Poland on October 12 (Saturday) in Warsaw at 7:45 pm and Scotland on October 15 (Tuesday) in Glasgow at the same time in the 3rd and 4th rounds of the group, which also includes Croatia.

The top two teams qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition.
