Amdouni
In St. Gallen, Amdouni was part of Switzerland's starting eleven that drew with Denmark (2-2) on matchday 4 of Group A4 of the Nations League. In the 45'+1', the Benfica forward was called into action from the penalty spot and beat Kasper Schmeichel to make it 2-1. Earlier, he had been involved in the 1-0: served in the area, he headed against Vestergaard and, on the rebound, Freuler scored.
Then, in the 74th minute, Amdouni scored again with a powerful left-footed shot after a corner kick, but the goal (which would have been the Swiss' third) was disallowed because his teammate's cross had crossed the line. In the 89th minute, he was substituted and applauded by the crowd.
Bah also took part in the same match. Starting on Denmark's right wing, the Benfica full-back was on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes.
In Group A1 of the Nations League, António Silva was part of Portugal's starting eleven in the scoreless draw against Scotland in Glasgow on matchday 4 and played the full 90 minutes of a game in which Tomás Araújo was not one of Roberto Martínez's final options.
Barreiro was a starter for by Luxembourg and played the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Belarus, a match played in Zalaegerszeg (Hungary) on matchday 4 of Group C3 of the Nations League.
Schjelderup helped Norway's Under-21s secure 2nd place in Group A of qualification for the 2025 European Championship and consequently progress to the play-offs, which will be held in Slovakia. The Benfica forward was included in his team's starting eleven for the entire match in Stavanger and contributed to the 5-1 home win over Turkey with two goals, both of which came from fast counter-attacks.
Holds the captain's armband for the Albanian Under-21s, Bajrami played the full 90 minutes of the victory over Armenia (1-0) in Tirana, on the 10th and final matchday of Group E qualifying for the European Championship in Slovakia. However, the three points proved insufficient for the Albanians to avoid elimination.
Finally, André Gomes was on the bench for Portugal's U-21 team (who went into the game already qualified for the European Championship 2025) in their victory in Andorra (1-2), in the final match of Group G. Samuel Soares did not make the final list chosen by coach Rui Jorge.
