Tomás Araújo, Barreiro and Amdouni, athletes from Benfica's professional football team, started for Portugal, Luxembourg and Switzerland, respectively, in the final match of the Nations League group stage. The central defender Made in Benfica Campus made his debut for the Portuguese senior national team. António Silva did not come off the bench.

Started in Croatia-Portugal (1-1), in Split, on Matchday 6 of Group A1, the 22-year-old center-back performed well and was eventually substituted in the 63rd minute, with physical complaints, after a dispute with Matanovic and José Sá when the score was 0-1. António Silva was an unused substitute. Portugal finished first in their group with 14 points and will play in the quarter-finals.

Amdouni spearheaded Switzerland's attack in their trip to Spain, where the Swiss team lost 3-2 on matchday 6 of Group A4. The striker came off at half-time. Switzerland finished the group in 4th place with 2 points and were relegated to Group B of the competition.

Barreiro

Barreiro was in the starting eleven for Luxembourg's match against Northern Ireland on Matchday 6 of Group C3, a game in which the Northern Irish confirmed first place with a draw (2-2). The midfielder contributed until the 56th minute. It should also be noted that the Luxembourg team - which finished in 4th place with 3 points - also played Tomás Cruz (90'), a center back for the Reds' Under-23s.
