Bruno Lage, coach of Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team, was awarded Coach of the Month in the Liga Betclic 2024/25 in April. The Reds' helmsman received the majority of votes from his counterparts in the competition, with a total of 25.40%.

Benfica played five matches between April 2 and 27, winning 3-2, 1-4, 0-3 and 6-0 against Farense (home), FC Porto (away), Vitória SC (away) and AVS (home) respectively, and drawing 2-2 against Arouca (home).

This season, it should be noted, Bruno Lage had already been voted Coach of the Month in the Liga Betclic in March and February 2025, and November 2024.
