"Give everything to win the games"

It's the first World Cup, it's very important for Benfica and also for us. It's a new experience, and we want to give everything to win the games, so we can continue in this tournament.

Of course Bayern [Munich] are the favorites in the group. They have already shown how powerful they are. We played against them in the Champions League. We know how good their players are. But, of course, we are not afraid of anyone. However, we have to be very careful. The most important thing now is the first game against Boca [Juniors].

You finished the 2024/25 season with many goals and assists. How do you feel now? How can you help the team at this point?

Of course, I want to continue like this. I want to help my team. It's important for a striker to score goals and provide assists. We haven't played together for a while, because of the break and the international break... But I've been back with the team for the last few days and I feel good.

What are the objectives for this competition?

The objectives? I don't know... All players can score. We have many players who can score goals. We have quality in our forwards, as well as in our wingers and midfielders. I think all the defenders have also scored many goals this season. We are dangerous in all positions on the pitch.

What are your expectations for the match against Boca Juniors? We know that the Argentinians are a tough team. Are you expecting a physical game?

I expect a physical game, a very aggressive game from them. We need to focus on ourselves and not think too much about the Boca players.
