Obrador is the new signing of Sport Lisboa e Benfica! In his first statements as an Eagle to BTV, the 21-year-old left-back expressed his desire to “win everything” with the Sacred Mantle, praising the club's history.

Obrador was announced and presented this Friday, July 11, as a new signing for Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team. Pride and ambition were the themes of the full-back's speech, in which he introduced himself as a player and left a message for the Benfiquistas.

“I am proud to defend such a historic club as Benfica. I am really looking forward to joining my teammates”, he told BTV.

What are your characteristics and playing style?

I am a full-back who helps the team defensively, but when I join the attack, I can also provide support on the wing.

What do you know about Benfica's history? How did you feel when you heard about the club's interest in you?

I know that Benfica is a very big and very important club in Europe, and that many legendary players have played here. When I heard about Benfica's interest, I was very excited and happy to be able to defend this emblem.

What are your expectations for this new challenge?

On an individual level, to grow and help the team. On a collective level, to win everything possible.

In a message to Benfica fans, what can you promise them?

I will give my all, give my life for this jersey. I hope they support us in every game.
