In a statement sent this Saturday, July 12, to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD announced that had reached an agreement in principle with Besiktas, of Turkey, for the loan, with an obligation to buy, of Orkun Kökcü.

"Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD announces that has reached an agreement in principle with Besiktas for the loan of player Orkun Kökcü during the 2025/26 season.

The aforementioned agreement includes the mandatory option of a permanent transfer of the player's sporting rights for the amount of €25,000,000 (twenty-five million euros) plus variable remuneration linked to objectives, meaning that the total value of the transfer could reach €30,000,000 (thirty million euros).
