Sport Lisboa e Benfica announces that it has reached an agreement with Elche CF for the permanent transfer of Martim Neto.

In his journey with the eagle on his chest, Martim Neto began his development at the CFT in Braga in 2014/15. The following season, in 2015/16, he moved to Benfica Campus, progressing through all the youth ranks. During this time, he contributed to the club's victories in the 2021/22 UEFA Youth League and the 2022 Under-20 Intercontinental Cup. In the 2022/23 season, he represented the Eagles' B team.

In 2023/24, the young midfielder was loaned to Gil Vicente, playing 33 games and scoring one goal. In 2024/25, after completing preseason with Glorioso's first team, he was an unused substitute in two league games.

He completed the 2024/25 season playing for Rio Ave, again on loan, making 27 appearances and scoring one goal.

As he prepares to embark on a new stage in his career, Sport Lisboa e Benfica wishes Martim Neto every success, both in his sporting and personal life.
