Trubin, goalkeeper from Benfica's professional football team, was in action for his national team on Sunday, November 16.

In Warsaw, Trubin started in Ukraine's 2-0 victory over Iceland in the sixth and final matchday of UEFA Group D qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. Confident in goal, the Eagles' goalkeeper made two decisive saves (48' and 77') before the goals that allowed the Ukrainians to climb to 2nd place and secure a spot in the play-off, scheduled for March. It should be noted that Sudakov was released from the national team before the match against the Nordics due to injury.

António Silva was an unused substitute in Portugal's 9-1 rout of Armenia in Porto on the sixth and final matchday of Group F. Schjelderup suffered the same fate in Norway's 4-1 victory in Italy, a result that sealed a perfect qualifying campaign for the Norwegians, with eight wins in as many games in Group I. Portugal and Norway thus secured first place in their respective groups and direct qualification for the 2026 World Cup.

In Fort Lauderdale (United States), Richard Ríos also remained on the bench during Colombia's 2-1 victory over New Zealand in a friendly match in preparation for the tournament organized by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
