Inspiradoras distinguished with the Fair Play Award

Three more important points! The rain, the cold, the wind, the late hour... nothing stopped the Red Wave from making its presence felt and carrying Benfica to a 1-2 victory over Estoril at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota in matchday 32 of the Liga Betclic. Aursnes (7') and Otamendi (36') scored the goals for Glorioso. Determined display, goal achieved in the fight for the title.

Before and after the match from matchday 21 of the Liga BPI, against Clube de Albergaria (5-0), the women's football team of Benfica was showered with crowds while celebrating their 5th league in a row. The afternoon began with an autograph session attended by hundreds of fans and, at the end of the game, there was time to lift the trophy and take it to the central stand of Benfica Campus Field No. 1, in a celebration in total communion with the fans.

On Saturday, April 12, the Inspiradoras celebrated winning the fifth national championship in a row after beating Valadares Gaia 0-3, on matchday 20 of the Liga BPI, with goals from Christy Ucheibe (29'), Cristina Prieto (42') and Beatriz Cameirão (75'). A trophy that they have added to the League Cup. Fervent in their support for the team, the Benfiquistas gave color to the celebration at the Estádio Dr. Jorge Sampaio, painted red and white.
