When the youth football competitions were canceled because of COVID-19, the eagles were leading the 2nd phase - championship round of the U-17 National Championship (South Group). They had 35 points as the result of 11 wins, two draws and one loss. Now that we must maintain the social isolation, the coach Filipe Coelho and the entire staff congratulated the young athletes and stressed the message of the moment (Benfica at home!). But there are tasks that must continue to be (well) performed...

Under-17: celebrating the third consecutive championship title

Benfica's Under-17s beat FC Porto on Sunday, June 15, on matchday 18 of the National Championship and won the 3rd consecutive league title in the competition and the 22nd in the club's history. At Benfica Campus Field No. 1, Tomás Soares (45'+1') and José Neto (54') scored the goals that gave the Eagles a 2-1 victory. For the first time in the same season, the Under-19, Under-17, and Under-15 teams have won their respective championships: it is a historic achievement for the Club in youth football!
