Our U17 team is unstoppable! Benfica achieved, this Friday, a place in the Semi-Finals of the 7th edition of the Alkass International Cup after beating AC Milan by a conclusive 6-0, 3-0 at the halftime.

With this result, Benfica assures its presence in the Semis and waits for the Saturday match between Real Madrid and Kashiwa. One of them will be our next opponent.

The semi-final is scheduled for 2:55 pm (in Continental Portugal), January 29th and, do not forget to follow the match LIVE on the Official Website.

The final will be held on January 31st, at 2:55 pm.

Line-up: Samuel Soares, Alexandre Penetra, Francisco Saldanha, Henrique Jocú, Tiago Araújo, Gonçalo Ramos, Jair Tavares, Tomás Tavares, Bernardo Silva, Hugo Nunes and Gonçalo Oliveira.

Preparation on stage for the final

On Tuesday afternoon, May 20, Benfica's professional football team trained at the Estádio Nacional, the venue for the Portuguese Cup final. Ruy Castelo Branco, director of the Benfica Residential Academy, and Adriano Laaber, coach of the Benfica Residential Academy women's team, visited the Benfica Campus on Tuesday, May 20, where they had the opportunity to follow the daily activities. "The main objective of the academy is to develop the athlete with the Benfica methodology and combine the academic part with the athletic part," Ruy Castelo Branco told BTV. “Feeling and experiencing this on a daily basis, especially the energy of the Benfica Campus, is enriching,” he said, noting that the goal is to continue cementing the Club's values in the United States.
