The International Day of Monuments and Places was celebrated with a virtual tour, never seen before, to the Benfica’s home.
19 April 2018, 19h42
During the tour which started next to Eusébio’s statue, the Benfiquistas were able to take a look at the models of the sporting complexes of the old and new stadium. It was followed by a walk on the stands, where the visitors enjoyed one of the stadium’s perspective and were informed about the commercial areas, the Catedral da Cerveja restaurant and Hublot Lounge.
With no time to lose, the virtual tour kept on showing one of the most exciting areas: the dressing room of the visiting team, where it is possible to experience how the Benfica’s opponents get prepared for the matches. The Press Conference Room came next, the place where the coach Rui Vitória previews or analyzes the matches.
Before the pitch tunnel, comes the tunnel of the Glories, with plenty of pictures of emblematic players who had the opportunity to wear the sacred cloak and to win many titles. When stepping on the grass, the visitors have access to privileged view of Estádio da Luz in the same angle of the players. Once on the pitch, it is possible to get to know the club’s living symbol: the eagle!
