Loaned by Bayern Munich to Swansea from Premier League, the transfer to England could have happened one year ago. The former welsh winger confirmed he had scouted the midfielder when he was at Benfica.

“I was very impressed when I saw him play a few years ago. I immediately thought he was a player with a lot of talent”, he revealed.

Now playing in Wales, the legend of the Premier League believes Portuguese international will make a great season.

“He is a great talent and he will fit perfect in Premier League. He's an aggressive player. He makes interceptions, he takes the ball forward and he's in a club that plays an attractive football, so I think he will be successful”, he considered.

Finally, the biggest compliment of all: “He is a fantastic player and I think he will be one of the most impressive from the league”.

On the road to the Club World Cup debut

On the eve of taking the field at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami to make their debut in the first edition of the Club World Cup, Benfica's professional football team trained in Tampa (Florida), at the Waters Sportsplex.
