It is held, in Holland (Rotterdam), the great final of the ITU World Triathlon.

Vasco Vilaça was the first to get in action, having won the title of European vice-champion, in the U19 category.

The triathlete reached a 0:56:22 mark, only 28 seconds behind the winner, the Australian Matthew Hauser (0:55:54).

Melanie Santos, came next and with the same final result, in the U23's.

The athlete completed the event with a time of 2:05:37, only 16 seconds behind the great winner, the American Tamara Gorman (2:05:21).
