Benfica beat FC Porto by 28-25, this Sunday, in a game from Machday 3 of the Handball National Championship

In the end of the match, the coach and some players have spoken to BTV:

“The players have all the credit due to their working ability. The coach doesn't have a magic wand. The defense made an outstanding performance against a great team. I want to thank our fans and all the parties involved, because we witnessed an excellent game. Today, the Handball won. An excellent sporting event, stated Carlos Resende to BTV.

The goalkeeper Hugo Figueira was one of the standout players and scored three goals.

“This win is a reflection of the everyday work. We play the way we train. We are taking in the mechanisms. It was excellent performance against a great team. It's easier with a sold out pavilion. I would like to thank supporters”, he said.

Pedro Seabra, who also put in a great performance, said to BTV: “We are very happy. We made a great performance, with a fantastic atmosphere. We are all to be congratulated”.
