Bernardo Silva: “I'm grateful to the president, he has always helped me”
The former eagle speaks about his excellent relationship with Luís Filipe Vieira, the leader who restored Benfica's strenght.

Personal friend of Luís Filipe Vieira, Bernardo Silva watches, whenever he cans, the matches of "his" Benfica at Estádio da Luz and recently gave an interview to program Alta Fidelidade, on BTV, where he approached his close connection with the Benfica's president, to whom he is “grateful” for“all the support” he always gave him in and out of the club.
“Luís Filipe Vieira is the president who gave Benfica a huge strength again, which the club deserved. He helped us a lot in terms of the Training Center, he gave conditions for us, young players – and I speak for myself, because when I got there at the age of seven there was hardly nothing -, to develop and improve”, said the player who nowadays wears Manchester City's jersey.
“Personally, I'm grateful to him because he was a president who always helped and supported me”, reinforced the left-footed offensive midfielder.
