Rui Vitória: “All matches are a final”

Right after the end of the match of the group stage against CSKA (1-2), the coach said that the "reds" would come back to get those three lost points in some other place. On Wednesday, in Basel, the eagles go on with “a clear idea” of what they have to do “in order to win”, said Rui Vitória, this Tuesday, in Switzerland, in the Press Conference.

“For us, all the matches have a decisive role. The Champions League matches have to be lived with such an intensity, just like if we had only one match to play. We want to get the points in the last five matches, in order to achieve what we want. It has to be like this in the Champions League. It's another final. We believe in our value and capacity."

On last Saturday, Benfica hosted and beat Paços de Ferreira, coming back to path which Benfica naturally seeks, in order to reach its goals.

“Our process is to keep going on, with a positive perspective, believing in our work, focused on everything we can control. Tomorrow we want to take a step towards the team's growth", added the coach.

“It will be a difficult match, because in the Champions League there are no easy ones, but we came with a great will and confidence in what we are doing. It's another opportunity to continue with our work, wanting to win", concluded Rui Vitória.
