Rui Vitória: “Giving up does not enter our vocabulary”

Benfica's coach spoke after de 1-all draw against Marítimo and assured that the team will continue working.

Rui Vitória spoke at the end of the draw with the Marítimo (1-1), in "lack of clairvoyance", which prevented the “reds” from seizing the goal opportunities they had.

"We entered the game on the front foot, we scored the goal naturally in a difficult ground, in a disputed and competitive game. We ended up conceding a goal. At another time, I am convinced that we would win this match because we had opportunities for that. We lacked clairvoyance, "said the coach.

The coach said that the break in the competition will serve to "rectify, unite and work ..." and that only this way will the “reds” “improve and look for a victory."

"We wanted to get the three points, not because of our direct rivals, but for us. Giving up does not enter our vocabulary. So we just have to continue working, "he concluded in the flash interview.
