Carlos Morais launches the game against CAB Madeira, which will take place Thursday at Pavilhão Municipal de Sines.
03 October 2017, 11h33
This Thursday at 4:00 pm, at Pavilhão Municipal de Sines, the "reds" Basketball team faces CAB Madeira. The Super Cup is at stake, the first official trophy of the new season, that the national champions want to take to the trophy cabinet of the Benfica Cosme Damião Museum.
“We expect a very difficult match, we know we are going to face a team that made good signings, a team that –just like us – has the goal of winning the first trophy of the season. CAB is a well-coached team, but we are well prepared to counter those difficulties that, eventually, will appear", said the 31-year-old player to BTV.
“Mentally, we are very motivated, we want to win the Super Cup, we are in good form and we will do everything to, on Thursday, be able to bring this trophy for Benfica”, assumed the Angolan International.
The athlete calls on the presence of the supporters, because their support is fundamental for achieving the objectives: “We hope all the Benfica supporters show up in Sines. We need them, we want a packed pavilion, if possible with Benfica fans", appealed the player to the "Benfiquistas" from all over the country.
