“Luís Filipe Vieira is one of the great leaders of the world”

On October 31, 2017, 14 years of Luís Filipe Vieira's leadership will be completed at Benfica. Geovanni, in an interview with the Official Site, acknowledges his grateful to the person who - first as a football director, then as president - bet on him, signing him from Barcelona and returning him the joy of playing football at the old and new Estadio da Luz.

"Luís Filipe Vieira is a person who has helped me a lot. He brought me to the Club with Camacho. At the time I needed to rediscover the joy of playing football and he helped me. We are still friends", said the Brazilian, on the eve of a Benfica-Manchester United at Estádio da Luz.

“Luís Filipe Vieira in Benfica is a blessing of God”, emphasizes the former player.

"In 14 years he changed the history of the Club, he put it on a level where it should always be, he organized everything. In my opinion is one of the great leaders of the world for having reorganized Benfica, that lived a terrible crisis.", said Geovanni.

“"Benfica today is not just football, but many other sports. I am very happy that the president is completing 14 years in charge of Benfica ",  underlined the former forward.
