November 15th  is the National Day of the Portuguese Sign Language and Sport Lisboa e Benfica marks the date.

The athletes Pedro Seabra (handball), Guillem Trabal (roller hockey ) and Ary Neto (volleyball) joined together to promote the Portuguese Sign Language, that has a special vocabulary and its own  grammar, in defense of the respect for the rights of deaf people.
