In all,  he has been representing Benfica for 48 years, 19 of which as a player. He arrived at Luz in 1970 and never left. Today, he is a member of the Reds' technical structure and belong to a restrict bath of player who only represented one club in their entire professional football career.

Shéu hung up his boots on May 21st, 1989, but never said goodbye to what was his home throughout his entire life, working as football technical secretary, a role to which he bids farewell this Saturday. At his own request, Shéu leaves the current functions, however, he will remain at the Club, but with another position.
