The women's football team of Benfica continues to work hard bearing in mind the friendly match against AD Lousada, and the competition in the Promotion National Championship.

The intensity of the footballers in each exercise or in every battle for possession has been constant. One of the members of the squad is Dani Neuhaus. The goalkeeper admitted that the Portuguese reality is very different from the reality in Brazil, but she has been adapting well.  

The trainings sessions are very different from the ones in Brazil. I have been adapting well, the group is good, and we have been having a lot of support. We still have those muscular pains that are normal for someone who is in the pre-season, but it is something necessary to be in good shape when the Championship starts”, she said in statements to BTV.

The Brazilian praised the quality of the Club’s structure and the unity revealed by the working group.

“We already carried out three training sessions on the pitch and one could see the unity of the group. The team is focused, and the structure of Benfica has been given us conditions that not all clubs give. We will repay because we know our obligations”, she guaranteed.

Dani Neuhaus admitted that “the expectations have been exceeded”. “I knew the magnitude of Benfica, but all this structure shows greatness. I am very happy or having made this choice and have come to Benfica”, she said.

Benfica faces AD Lousada at Jamor, at 10:30 am on Monday. It will be the first training match before the training camp in Luso.

“We want to show our strength and quality as a group in this match. strength and quality as a group in this game training match is the fest test and we want to show the gaffer all our work”, she wished.
