After the training camp in Luso, the women's football squad of Benfica advance on Tuesday (August 14) to another stage of the 2018/19 pre-season. On the following day, Wednesday, the team visits Estoril-Praia for a new test.

After a 10-day training camp– that finished with the rout over Ribeirão (17-0) –, the team coached by João Marques will continue the pre-season plan.

The red squad is back to work and already has a friendly match in the agenda. On Wednesday, at 8 pm, the team faces Estoril-Praia at the António Coimbra da Mota Complex.

Highlight for the presence of the latest signings and the ambition in the words of the national champions for 2022/23."We are looking forward to the season to come and to winning many more things", claimed Carolina Correia, to BTV. "I feel motivated. We started very well and now it's up to us to do our best to win the Championship again", added Carolina Vilão. "We have almost the whole team here, expectations are always high at Benfica", finished Carlyn Baldwin.

More medicals and physical tests

In the second working day for the women's football team of SL Benfica, more medicals and physical tests at Hospital da Luz, Benfica Clinic and in the Pavilions of Luz. Still with the squad incomplete, with many players on international duty, Ana Vitória was clearly anxious "for another season in search of titles". "You can expect a competitive team, which is going to fight for all titles", she promised, in BTV. On Monday, July 11, the team will train with ball for the first time at Estádio da Tapadinha.
