Benfica's terrible cycle in the start of the season "ended with a flourish", as Rui Vitória mentioned after the 0-4 triumph at the Estádio da Madeira. In the team, there are 12 players who have stood out with goals and assists in the eight matches for the Liga NOS and the Champions League.

Two players of the squad led by Rui Vitória see their name appear in the list of scorers and assist providers of the Liga NOS and the Champions League: Pizzi e Salvio, according to the statistical data from the platform Wyscout.

 Two footballers, André Almeida and Castillo, made assists, but still did not have the chance to score goals. The right-back assisted Pizzi in the 3-2 against V. Guimarães; the Chilean forward made the pass for Gedson's goal in Istanbul.
