Sport Lisboa e Benfica and Ajax play next Wednesday, the Matchday 4 of the Champions League. The Estádio da Luz will be the stage of an extremely important match for the eagles' ambitions and Gabriel did not hide the group's desire and expectations.

“Just like the team, I see this match as a good opportunity to change the course of things, of the bad results we have been achieving. It is a great opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our group and work. To be a starter? That does not depend on me”, he said to journalists.

Looking at the this Wednesday's match and at the opponent, Gabriel is certain that Benfica have the “capacity to win”.

“I believe that in the first match we have demonstrated full conditions to win. That is what we always go for and what we are going to do tomorrow. We will go after the victory, we respect the opponent, but we have the capacity to win against any team. We got to work, to improve day by day, to learn from the mistakes and to keep doing things well like we did until now”, he concluded in the press conference room.

The SL Benfica-Ajax has the starting whistle of the Italian Gianluca Rocchi, on Wednesday, at 8:00 pm.
