Benfica faced Académica (0-8) this Saturday in the second match of the pre-season and won the Hospital da Luz Cup. Raul de Tomas scored his first goals with an eagles on his chest and confessed that “it's a wish fulfilled”.
“I'm very happy, I had the desire to score the first goal with this shirt and I managed to do it today and I hope to score many more this season”, stated the forwards.
The forward said he has a thirst for goals: “It's very important for me to score goals, whatever the occasion, I'm very happy to have already scored tow goals in this pre-season and now I hope to score more more goals in the United States and, when the official season starts, the desire is the same.”
