One at home, the other away, Zenit and Leipzig beat their respective opponents in the Russian and German leagues this weekend. In France, Lyon, also an opponent of Benfica in Group G of the Champions League, lost at home.
The Russians were the first to play. At Zenit (in 4x5x1) played the following players: Lunev; Smolnikov, Ivanovic, Rakitsky, Santos; Shatov, Ozdoev, Kuzyayev (77', Mak), Barrios (78', Kranevitter), Driussi (46', Sutormin); Dzyuba.
Zenit has seven wins, two draws and one loss in the championship. With 23 points, is the leader of the Russian top flight.

Also on Saturday, Leipzig traveled to Werder Bremen home ground, in a game from round 5 of the Bundesliga. At the German side (in 3x5x2) played the following players: Gulácsi; Upamecano, Konate, Orban; Klostermann, Nkunku (74', Demme), Laimer, Sabitzer, Mukiele (46', Saracchi); Cunha (63', Haidara), Werner.
With this triumph, Leipzig remains in the 1st place of the Bundesliga. They have 13 points, the result of four wins and one draw (against Bayern Munich).
From Benfica's opponents, Lyon was the last to play. Lyon remains in the 9th place with eight points (12 goals scored, five conceded).
At the French team (in 3x5x2) played the following athletes: Anthony Lopes; Marcelo (73', Tete), Andersen, Denayer; Dubois, Reine-Adélaide (72', Tousart), Thiago Mendes (89', Traoré), Aouar, Koné; Dembélé, Depay.
