Estádio da Luz and the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião welcomed, this Thursday, a group of 10 refugees from Guinea Conakry, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan and Guinea Bissau who arrived in Portugal a year ago, more precisely in Fundão.

To mark the first year of integration of these migrants, Casa do Benfica in Fundão, in partnership with the Municipality's Office for Cultural Diversity and Inclusion and with help J3LP (polishing company that operates in the city of Fundão), provided a different day for this group of refugees in order to promote  SL Benfica, but also also the Beira Baixa traditions of concern for others and knowing how to welcome.

The joy, conviviality and importance of the Benfica Football Schools National Meeting continues to be felt year after year. On Saturday, May 17, the 1st day of the 18th edition of the event– which runs until Sunday - took place at the Estádio da Luz. A weekend full of emotions for the nearly 7,000 students from the 46 schools involved, who will have the opportunity to play in the Cathedral.
