On September 8, Benfica's women's football team won the Super Cup after beating SC Braga by 0-1. The trophy arrived at the Benfica Museum-Cosme Damião this Thursday by the hand of the captain Darlene and Pauleta, who scored the stunner in the final held in Tondela. 

“It's very good. It was a great day for the team, for me who scored the goal, but, above all, for our Club for one more achievement”, started by saying the 22-year-old Spaniard, Pauleta, to BTV.

“We knew that [in 2018/19] the goal was to clinch promotion and win the Portuguese Cup, which was difficult because there are great teams in the 1st Division competing for that trophy, but we were aware of our quality. We showed that on the pitch and achieved our goals. The Super Cup was the icing on the cake”, claimed Pauleta.
