Odysseas: "We still have a chance and we'll do our best"

In the match preview in Leipzig, the Benfica goalkeeper assured that the team does not consider that they are out of the Champions League.

The math to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League is complicated for Benfica, but it is not yet closed. Odysseas hold on to the "realistic" chances and made sure that the team will do everything they can to achieve a result in Germany that will serve them well.

How do you face this match?

It's a very important match. As always happens in the Champions League, all teams try to give their best, and we want to win.

What do you fear most about this Leipzig team, which has scored a lot of goals and has players in good form, like Timo Werner?

I know Timo Werner, we played together for a long time in our youth. I know that Leipzig has great qualities, has quick strikers, but our coach prepared us for that.

Only victory allows the team to dream of the next phase. Are you aware of the sporting and financial importance of this game?

It's always important to win matches in the Champions League, to play at the Champions League level. We still have a realistic chance of going through to the next round and it'is with that mentality that we'll step onto the pitch. We always come in to win, and in the end, we do the math.
