The funeral of Paulo Gonçalves, a Portuguese motorsport driver who died on January 12, takes place this Friday, at 4 pm, in Church of (Esposende), from where he was native.

The 40-year-old pilot died because of an accident in the 7th stage of the 42nd Dakar Rally (this year it took place in Saudi Arabia). He was one of the most prestigious Portuguese motorsport athletes and was Rally Cross World Champion in 2015.

The first training session on American soil

Newly arrived in the United States, Benfica's professional football team held its first training session on American soil on Monday, June 9, in preparation for the Club World Cup, whose debut against Boca Juniors is scheduled for 11:00 p.m. (Mainland Portugal time) on June 16 (Monday).
