After his first cap with the German national team... his first goal! With a great finish, the Benfica signing for the 2020/21 season, left his mark. 

In the friendly against Turkey, that finished with a 3-all draw, Waldschmidt was a starter, played the 90 minutes and stood out. In addition to the goal, he was involved in the play of Germany's second goal.
