João Ferreira: "I played a competent match, now I must continue the work"
The Benfica full-back played as a starter (UEFA debut) and was involved in the play that sealed the final score (2-2) in Belgium.

On the day he made his European debut at the age of 19, he was also involved in the play that gave Benfica the 2-2, against the Belgian of Standard Liège, on matchday 6 of Group D of the Europa League.
"I'm very happy to have made my debut in the Europa League, of course, but I could have been even happier with a victory. I feel it is the result of my work and all the support of my teammates. I played a competent match and now I must continue the work", claimed the right-back at the end of the encounter.
