The 17 year old midfielder signed until 2024 and is one of Benfica's new faces for the 2021/22 season.

WELCOME, MARIA NEGRÃO!
Maria Negrão, a 17-year-old midfielder, penned a contract with the women's football team of SL Benfica until 2024.
In her first words with the eagle on her chest, the football player was happy with this move. "It is a great pride to be able to wear the Benfica jersey. I am happy to be able to represent such a great emblem", said the athlete, also adding that it was "a dream and a goal envisioned".
"I will give my best on the pitch, I hope I bring a lot of happiness and that the fans come to support us significantly, because we are sure that we will display a great football and what Benfica", guaranteed the footballer.
