WELCOME, VALÉRIA!

Valéria Cantuário, a 22-year-old Brazilian international, is a new signing of the women's football of Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2024.

"I am prepared to represent Benfica. I came from a big club too, which is making history [Madrid CFF]. I come to Benfica to have fun, enjoy and help this gigantic team. Being here [at Estádio da Luz] is a child's dream. Any player would like to wear and honor this jersey",  she claimed in statements with BTV.

Valéria is excited about this new step in her career and even leaves suggestions for everything to go well with the eagle on her chest.

"Work day by day. Doing the best on the pitch and always being able to communicate. Communicating on the pitch is important to work together and help the team", finished the eagles' latest signing.
