The top scorer of the Liga Bwin (16 goals), Darwin left his mark in Tondela's net in the match from gameweek 21, contributing to Benfica's win by 1-3 at Estádio João Cardoso, in the Beira Alta.

"It was a very important victory away from home. We played a great game. In the previous match [against Gil Vicente at Estádio da Luz] we didn't play well, but the team changed its mentality and we came with the desire to play and take the three points", assumed the forward.

"We all play, those who step onto the pitch, those who are on the bench and those who are out of the squad list. No player is more important than another, we are all equal and we all pull in the same direction", commented Benfica's number 9.

"The support off the fans is always important. We know that we are in a difficult situation and we need their support in every match. Now it's game by game, at the end of the season we will see", claimed Darwin.
