The experience of Orlen Wisla Plock, the opponent of Benfica in the EHF European League, is one of the strong points of the Polish team, which, reminded the coach Chema Rodríguez, "have many international players".

"They’re a powerful team, that played Kielce this week in the Polish League [20-20 draw; 3-5 loss in the seven-meter throw decision], one of the teams in the Champions League Final Four. We know their potential, they have many internationals, who played the Final Four more times, with a lot of experience. But I think we also have a very strong team, with a lot of talent, with a lot of hope, playing at home with our fans, who I am sure will be in the pavilion. I think we have our chances. We must do a lot of things right to be able to beat them, but I think we can do things right to be in the final", said Chema Rodríguez, to  BTV.

"I feel the players’ willingness, they want to play the first game right now and try to win in front of our fans. They’re working well, just like they did during the season, we’re a family, we have a good atmosphere. It’s easier to work this way. To reach a final four in my second year at Benfica is something unique, but we can go further. It would be incredible for me and the team", he highlighted.

Chema Rodríguez will face his friend and former teammate again (the Spanish coach Xabi Sabaté). "We have a similar way of playing; we were teammates and we’re friends. The details are going to decide the match. I hope we can be in the final", he concluded.
