The athlete of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, won this Sunday, August 21, the gold medal in K1 5000 meters in the European Championships at held in Munich, Germany. 

The Benfiquista had won the bronze medal before, on Friday, August 19, in K1 500 meters, and the silver medal in K1 1000 on the following day. This Sunday, Pimenta took the gold in K1 5000 meters, his 121st international medal! 

Determined and strong, Fernando Pimenta finished the race with 20:14.77 minutes, 3.2 seconds less than the Spanish rival.

What a great atmosphere in Amoreira, it's the Red Wave! Visiting the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota for the 32nd and antepenultimate matchday of the Liga Betclic, Benfica imposed themselves and won 1-2. The Eagles' goals on Saturday night, May 3, were scored by Aursnes and Otamendi.

The celebration of the five-time champions at Benfica Campus!

Before and after the match from matchday 21 of the Liga BPI, against Clube de Albergaria (5-0), the women's football team of Benfica was showered with crowds while celebrating their 5th league in a row. The afternoon began with an autograph session attended by hundreds of fans and, at the end of the game, there was time to lift the trophy and take it to the central stand of Benfica Campus Field No. 1, in a celebration in total communion with the fans.
