TRAINING SESSION:OPEN PERIOD

After the international duty, the professional football team of Benfica led by Roger Schmidt worked this morning at Benfica Campus having in mind the return to Liga Bwin, to face Vitória de Guimarães next Saturday at 8:30 pm, October 1, at Estádio D. Afonso Henriques.

In the morning training session, the internationals Otamendi, Enzo and Aursnes worked on their recovery in the gym, while the center-back Morato completed another stage in his physical rehabilitation plan. Integrated in the field work a few days ago, João Victor works to return competition and Lucas Veríssimo on his progressive reintegration under medical supervision.

Preparations for the clash with Barcelona

On the morning of Monday, January 20, Benfica's professional football team continued, in the rain, to prepare for the clash with Barcelona, on matchday 7 of the Champions League, scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, at 8 pm, at Estádio da Luz. Tiago Gouveia and Renato Sanches, undergoing treatment and gym work, were not part of the training session at Benfica Campus, which was attended by youngsters João Fonseca, Nuno Félix, Leandro Santos, Francisco Domingues, Tiago Freitas and Eduardo Fernandes.
