AURSNES

"WE must be prepared and be aggressive"

"It was a very good result for us, a good 1st leg, but there is still one more game to play, and we have to give everything. It was a very tough match, Brugge was very good in the first half, especially at the beginning. They are not an easy opponent, we have to be prepared and be aggressive. I think we reacted well, maybe after the first 25 minutes, and also in the second half."

CHIQUINHO

"It was a very important win"

"We are very satisfied. We knew it was going to be a difficult match. In the first 15 minutes we didn't start very well, but from then on I think we started to get into the game, we had control of the game and several opportunities to score goals. It was a very important victory. The first leg is done, but I think the second game won't be easy, and we have to focus on that. Now it's time to rest, think about the next Championship match, and work hard."

GONÇALO RAMOS

"It is a dangerous team..."

"It is always good to start the knockout stage with a win, especially away from home. It is not yet closed, it was a good first step, but they are a dangerous team and anything can happen at Estádio da Luz. I felt good, the game went well, and I am ready. [Goal scoring streak] I hope so, but the most important thing is for the team to win, which happened today."

JOÃO MÁRIO

"It was a big step for us"

"It was an important victory, especially being a 1st leg away from home, and we got it. It was a big step for us! We had a difficult start, the opposing team was brave, but we played a great match. It is not easy to play here [Belgium]. It was a good first step, just the first part, we are happy, but now we have to win and do the same in Lisbon."
