This Sunday, May 14, the last day of the Sprint World Cup, in Szeged, Hungary, the Benfica canoeists had more reasons to celebrate.

In K2 500 meters (A final), João Ribeiro and Messias Baptista (1:30.94 minutes) took the bronze medal.

At the end of the morning, in the final A of Mix K2 500 meters, the podium was repeated. The duo formed by Fernando Pimenta and Teresa Portela completed the race in 1:37.79 minutes, finishing in 3rd place

Fernando Pimenta, who, in individual terms, had already won a gold and silver, still competed in the final of K1 5000 meters, but was forced to give up because he lost his rudder during the 1st lap.
