Five times national champion in eight seasons at the Club, the Argentinean Salvio paid a visit to Lisbon and, of course, to "his" Estádio da Luz, passing on a message of strength to the League leader in the midst of the final stage of the season.

"I believe a lot in Benfica. I've been following it all season, it has a great team, and I believe in it a lot, just like all Benfiquistas do", stressed Salvio.
"In the derby, Benfica has to start the match as it usually does, strong, to win. It will be a very special game, but the team has to be focused, play its game, and enjoy it because it will be an intense match", said the Argentinean.
"The team has shown that it knows how to fight in the most difficult moments. There is a lot of pressure, but Benfica has already shown in many important games that it has the team to turn things around and keep moving forward ", claimed Salvio.
"In the Champions League, the team showed its greatness and the level it has, as it did in the Championship, that's why all Benfiquistas believe", completed the former winger of the Reds.
"The fans spend the whole game singing, shouting, supporting the team, and the player feels it on the pitch, that makes the difference. The Benfiquistas always go to Alvalade to support the team, you can feel it, they are the 12th man, it's always important to have them in the stadium", remembered Salvio.
