BTV REPORT

Andrea Falcón has signed a contract with SL Benfica until 2026 and is a new addition to the eagles' women's football team.

"I am very happy and excited about the project and the great ideas it has. I am proud to be here and to be part of this club with so much history. Historic clubs demand a lot of responsibility, and I'm proud to be able to take on that responsibility", confessed the Spanish international.

Andrea Falcón represented FC Barcelona for four seasons, transferring in 2016 to Atlético Madrid, where she stayed for three years. In 2019, she returned to the blaugrana and spent another two and a half years there, being loaned to Levante for the second half of 2021/22. Last season, she defended the colors of Club América, from Mexico.

With a Champions League and multiple Spanish competitions won, the 26-year-old athlete confesses that "each experience is very different" and what she wants is "to live up to the Club's history".

"The path that has been taken in these five years is very good, the growth has to be in the European competitions"

"Above all, I hope to give 100% of myself in every training session and game, and to be able to help the Club grow and me grow as well. It is a project that goes hand in hand between growing as a person and growing as a club. I hope to achieve great things with this great team", claimed the attacker.

The football player also pointed her sights on continental success, since the "growth must be in the European competitions, which is a very important goal", and she considered that the "path that has been taken in these five years is very good, it is following a good line, and it has to continue like this".
