João Neves, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's 19-year-old midfielder, was voted the Liga Betclic's Best Young Player for October/November, a distinction awarded by the Players' Union.

The midfielder was used in all four games during the period in question, Estoril (V 0-1), Casa Pia (E 1-1), Chaves (V 0-2) and Sporting (V 2-1), three of them as a starter, with a total of 291 minutes played, and one goal scored (in the derby at Estádio da Luz).

João Neves won 17.09% of the votes, followed by Rodrigo Gomes (Estoril) and fellow Benfica player António Silva, who won 14.2% and 11% respectively.
