João Neves, Benfica midfielder, has been voted by the coaches and captains of the teams in the competition for the Liga Betclic Eleven of the Year.

The Portuguese international played in 33 of the competition's 34 matches, starting 27 times (2315 minutes). In the league, the eagles' No. 87 scored three goals, registered one assist and also won 140 balls.

Throughout the season, João Neves also won five of the Liga Betclic Midfielder of the Month awards  (September, October/November, December, February and March).
