1st training session in the United States

Adapting to the Pittsburgh time zone (less five hours than in continental Portugal), the Benfica squad carried out this Monday the first training session in the United States, continuing the pre-season work.

On the immediate horizon is the clash with Borussia Dortmund, scheduled for 1:05 am on Thursday (8:05 pm local time, Wednesday evening in Pittsburgh).

In one of the pitches from the excellent sporting complex of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rui Vitória's men focused on the execution of the training plan, always with the ball present and already with Seferovic among the group.

In effort management, Fejsa and Grimaldo were not on the pitch.

The friendly match against Dortmund, inserted in the International Champions Cup, will be held at the Heinz Field Stadium, in Pittsburgh, in Pennsylvania. The venue has a capacity of nearly 70 thousand spectators and it is expected a good attendance in the fifth pre-season match of the Eagles.

On July 28 (Saturday), Benfica plays against Juventus the second match in the pre-season competition the gathers the most iconic emblems of the European football.
