Benfica beat Liverpool by 4-1 on Tuesday in the last 16 of the UEFA Youth League and, early this Wednesday afternoon, the Eagles found out that they will face Dinamo Zagreb in the quarter-finals of the Youth League.

Since the draw for the Round of 16, Benfica had taken it for granted that, in case of eliminating Liverpool, they would face the winner of the duel between Bayern Munich and Dynamo Zagreb away from home. In Germany, the game finished with a 2-all draw and Zagreb won in the penalty shootout: 5-6.

The final four of the UEFA Youth League – stage in which Benfica has been present on two occasions (2013/14 and 2016/17 season) – takes place at Colovray Stadium, in Nyon. The final is scheduled for April 20.
